A Travellerspoint blog

the definition of chillin'

Pardon me, I've got stack loads of ambition to satiate but I've got to get over my internet addiction first.

On Saturday I had a bee in my bonnet about emulators and downloaded one for the BBC Micro and one for the Commodore 64, as well as various games. (Look, it's more about unfinished business, than pure time wasting).

On Sunday I binged on boys toys type documentaries on Youtube. First, a circular skyscraper built in Abu Dhabi, then a program on the TGV, the Queen Mary 2, a Boeing 747 and one on the Airbus Super Jumbo. Somewhere in-between I discovered this thing called Google Reader, which I never knew about (would have been handy), and if you want a giggle (and don't understand German) watch this.

In the evening I got an email from a friend and I sent him one back and he sent me one back and so on and in short he might be passing this way. He might not. But the entertainment value in this blog will certainly multiply if he does. I spoke to Mildrid on Skype as well, I think she is becoming more distant, which is natural enough, us being divided by time and space.

Breaking news. Moonika if back on board! Moonika, if you're reading and are wondering what I think about this, I'll comment tomorrow.

What were you thinking about, James? I have clearly just caught up!

And the link was funny. I've obviously seen Der Untergang and I think he was shouting about the Russians getting close but I cannot remember, it was years ago.

I was happy about it. The specific texture of the emotion I don't quite recall.
