incidental stuff about the lectures, skip this, read the next post

I have thought carefully and decided I would like to do lectures on the following:

William Shakespeare
My travels in England and China (I have pictures and videos to support)
English folklore
Stonehenge, The Great Wall of China and Great Pyramid of Giza

I have chosen subjects that are related, in the main, to England and China and which I am proficient in.

I feel these subjects will be of interest to students and can be kept clear and simple.

Hi, James
Times for both the lectures and English corner will be at 18:30---19:30. I will inform you abou the room number on Monday.

She also appended a table showing me I am lecturing on weeks 7, 10, 13 and 16.

Note, there is no comment from Katie on the content I chose. Katie is pretty efficient, as you can see, but the human touch is missing. In fact, I have not seen anybody from the English department this semester.

I know Randy spoke to Katie on the bus the other day and she told him Joe Canada did a runner, which is contrary to what Mr H told him, so we are not sure. Jumped or pushed, he is no longer aboard.

Intriguing curriculum indeed. Will be interested to see how you do the WS 'clear and simple'. What is 'English folklore' exactly? Are we talking Robin Hood and King Arthur?

Well I couldn't say ghosts, could I?
